passport on folderBecoming a U.S. citizen is a long and difficult process, still many people put many efforts to receive naturalization. There are also known such cases, when people do not want to wait longer or undergo all legalization processes, and looking for another, easiest ways to receive it. Unfortunately, such “easy ways” only seem easy, causing many problems in future.

The main thing one should always remember, everything illegal becomes evident one day. An immigrant who procured naturalization unlawfully will be subject to revocation of naturalization.

A person’s naturalization will be subject to revocation for deliberate misrepresentation of facts in next cases:

If a person has intentionally misrepresented material facts on their naturaliazation application, they are subjected to lose their citizenship.

A person’s naturalization will be subjected to revocation for deliberate misrepresentation of information in such cases:

  • If a person had intentionally misrepresented or concealed some private information
  • if they have obtained citizenship in result of concealment of that fact.

Even if such citizens were unaware of any misrepresentation, such citizens are still considered offenders and their naturalization will be legally revoked.

What other reasons might cause a citizenship revoke?

A person will be deprived of his citizenship, if he or she belongs to or affiliated with a terrorist organization. They are more likely to lose their citizenship if they join a Communist or other totalitarian parties or of a terrorist organization, within five years from getting their citizenship.

Those people, who received citizenship by serving in U.S. Armed Forces, may lose their citizenship were discharged from service not in honorable way.
