The program Internship / Career Training USA is a professional version of the program Work and Travel USA. The program participant can get an international experience in the most prestigious and well-known U.S. companies to get acquainted with technologies and methods of work in the U.S. companies, and become part of a professional team of employees for the period of professional training.

 

There are different categories of training from 1 to 18 months. The main are:

· Information, Media and Communications

· Business, Management, Commerce and Finance

· Public Law and Administration

To become a member of Internship / Career Training USA program, first the candidate is interviewed and tested for English Proficiency (SLEP-test). After successfully passing the test, the applicant needs to enroll in the program and sign a contract; for this he/she will need the following documents:

  • student card + student’s record-book (for graduates – the diploma);
  • a certificate from the university confirming student status;
  • Russian passport;
  • passport with validity of at least six months after the intended date of return to Russia;
  • CV in English;
  • letters of recommendation (if any) from the school and / or work;
  • cover-letter;
  • 1 color photo 5×5 (for a visa).

The next step will be – to look for an internship place – an American company. After finding an employer the paperwork begins: training-plan, host company agreement. Once the documents are drawn up and sent to the American sponsor, the participant receives the form DS-2019, making it possible to contact the American embassy to obtain a non-immigrant visa J-1.

Among the main requirements for the participants of the Internship program:

– Age 18-25 years;

– Fluency in English;

– The status of the student (after the 2nd year). If the university is already finished, it must be not more than 12 months from the date of graduation until the departure to the United States.

Requirements for the participants of the program Career Training USA:

– Age from 20 to 39 years old;

– Education in the field of training (a minimum of two years of study) or experience in this area (not less than five years);

– Fluency in English.
