Information for the U.S. nationals traveling to Spain:
The U.S. Consulates are responsible for their own fellow U.S. citizens, living or travelling in the host country. The American Citizen Services Unit also provides voting information and notarial services, helps in acquiring funds from home, in arranging for medical care, or in assisting Americans who are arrested or incarcerated in Spain.
